HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF: 

BUST

• With your arms at your side, place the tape measure around the fullest part of your chest, under your arms.
• Make sure that the tape measure remains parallel to the floor.
• The length indicated on the tape measure is your bust measurement.

• While standing, wrap the tape measure around your natural waistline.
• Keep the tape comfortably loose.
• The length indicated on the tape measure is your waist measurement.

• While standing with your feet together, wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of your body between your waist and your knees.
  
• This is approximately 20 centimetres below your waist.
• Make sure that the tape measure remains parallel to the floor.
• The length indicated on the tape measure is your hip measurement.

MADE TO MEASURE
made to measure typically refers to clothing that is sewn from a standard-sized base pattern. a tailored suit is a common example of a
made-to-measure garment.  the fit of a made-to-measure garment is expected to be superior to that of a ready-to-wear garment because
ready-to-wear garments are constructed to fit the manufacturer’s definition of an average customer, while made-to-measure garments
are constructed to fit each customer individually.

custom orders require a 4 week production period. we hand-make each piece according to your measurements and size specifications
and this meticulous process takes time. we always ship as soon as the garment is done, so you may receive it sooner than the allotted
time period. thank you for your patience.

each atelierdahl piece is hand-crafted in the garment district of new york city. we find it extremely important to maintain a superior level
of quality while supporting new york's fading garment district. we stand strongly against exporting our goods to exploited, cheap laborers
in far away countries and do all that we can to remain humane in this industry.

AVAILABILITY
although we make every effort to keep sufficient stock of items listed on our site, occasionally we do sell out of certain products. If we are
out of stock on an item that you've ordered, we will notify you via e-mail. any changes will be reflected in your order total as well as your
shipping confirmation.

RETURN POLICY:
exchanges only are accepted on merchandise within 10 days of receipt only for items that are the INCORRECT SIZE, COLOR OR STYLE .
RETURN ITEMS HAVE NOT BEEN WORN, ALTERED OR WASHED, and have ALL tags attached. PLEASE NOTE: shipping and
handling charges are non-refundable.
